About Danielle Kinne:
Danielle Kinne, originally from the desserts of Ridgecrest California, received her BFA in Modern Dance at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. She began her formal training at Interlochen Arts Academy, Interlochen, MI and attended Purchase College, SUNY. While living in California’s Bay Area Danielle was a member of Blind Geese Dance Co. and Crash Burn and Die Dance Co. Since her relocation to Philadelphia, PA she has worked and performed for many local artist, and choreographers, including Philip Grosser, Meghan Durham/MERGE Dance Company, Megan Mazarick, Makoto Hirano and Olive Prince. She is currently a member of Leah Stein Dance Company where she has appeared in works such as Carmina Burana and GATE. She recently premiered Merian Soto’s What Is Love? In New York City as part of Lincoln Center’s Out Of Doors summer series and appeared at Bates Dance Festival in Lewiston, ME as a perfmorfer/videographer with Marinela Boan’s BoanDanzAction in False Testimony.
In addition to performing Danielle helped curate a film forum for short dance films, and premiered her own film in the 2006 Philly Fringe Festival. In the 2007 Philly Fringe Festival Kinne presented Pink Demise a work performed at The Arts Parlor. She has also enjoyed opportunities such as teaching modern dance at Interlochen Arts Camp, Interlochen, MI, and Sierra Academy of Dance, Ridgecrest, CA to children ages 7-15. Danielle is currently Space coordinator at The Arts Parlor in her free time.
About Rebecca Lloyd-Jones:
Rebecca Lloyd-Jones was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, and moved to US when she was 14. She has received BFA in dance from Temple University. She has also studied Capoeira Angola with Mestre Valmir in Salvador, Brazil. She has worked with various artists and companies in Philadelphia and in NY such as Marianela Boan’s Boan Danz Action, Leah Stein Dance Company, Yelena Gluzman’s Science Project, Nicole Bindler, Noemi Segarra, Darla Stanley, Megan Mazarick, Melanie Stewart, Merian Soto, Charles Anderson, Makoto Hirano, Meg Foley, Sasha Welsh, and more.
In winter 2007, she was a part of Japanese and American artists collaboration theater project “Worman” directed by Yelena Gluzman which premiered in Tokyo. Her own choreography has been and will be shown in various venues in Philadelphia and NY.
About Zornitsa Stoyanova:
Zornitsa Stoyanova is a native of Bulgaria and holds her B.A. in Dance and Sound Design from Bennington College, where she studied with Susan Sgorbati, Dana Reitz, Eva Kartzag, Brendan McCall, Paul Matteson, Keith Thompson, and Terry Creach. After graduating, she moved to Philadelphia and started dancing with Amnesiac Music and Dance and was one of the co-founders (Bilwa, Emily Sweeney, and Mikeronesia) of Perpetual Mvmt<>Snd. During this time, Zornitsa started working professionally as a lighting designer, launched her dance company, Herebegin Dance Co., and started producing “Current” an evening of dance and art series at Mascher Space Cooperative.While still in college her work was shown in Bulgaria, Hungary, and St. Marks Church in New York City.Presently she is making pieces and exploring different kinds of traditional and not so traditional mediums. She continues dancing with Perpetual Mvmt<>Snd as well and the Emergent Improvisation Project, directed by Susan Sgorbati.
