Choreographers to show at InFlux will be chosen by lottery, and notified on Thursday January 15th. Lottery priority will be given to choreographers who applied previously and were not lotteried into the series. If chosen to show your work, there will be an additional $30 participation fee to help offset moderator honorariums and marketing costs.

∆ Dance-theater work (focuses on character and/or narrative)
∆ Abstract/classical work (focuses on movement/music-sound relationship – could have some narrative component but it’s not primary)
∆ Multi-cultural fusion/interconnection work (hip-hop; mfundala; other social dance or ‘ethnic’ forms for the stage: tap, flamenco, salsa, tango, etc, with a contemporary sensibility) and/or political, issue-driven work
∆ Improvisation-based, contemplative/meditative, site-inspired and/or community oriented work
